Feb. 13: Crashers 5 vs. Puck Heads 2

The two teams played the first period to the tune of a 1-1 tie. The Crashers however pulled away in the second with three goals unanswered before the Puck Heads scored their second of the game. The Crashers added one in the third just for aesthetic purposes in the 5-2 victory.

Feb. 13: Blades 4 vs. Niagara Hitmen 2

The Niagara Hitmen got things started early in the first, but the Blades added one of their own just five minutes later. The game would remain tied until the third when the Blades pulled ahead with a two goal lead. The Niagara Hitmen would get it back to within one, but an empty netter would seal the deal for the Blades.

Feb. 13: Wolverines 7 vs. Icy Red South 10

There was a lot of back and forth scoring in this one, but never a point where Icy Red South didn’t maintain a lead. Wolverines Brian Hoffman had two goals on the night while the Mancuso’s of Icy Red South had a hand in five goals, picking up ten points and tightening their grip on the league lead in points.

Feb. 14: Highlanders 4 vs. Pylons 1

The Highlanders opened the scoring in the first and would push the game to a 2-0 affair, early in the second. The Pylons did get one back to keep things close, but the Highlanders shut the door with two more in the third period.

Feb. 14: Black Knights 2 vs. Molinaros 4

Both teams scored within a minute of each other in the first period, but in the second, Molinaros pulled ahead. They scored three unanswered before the Black Knights fought back with one. After a scoreless third, Molinaros came away with a 4-2 victory.

Feb. 16: Cyclones 7 vs. Chiefs 2

After finishing the first period up 2-0, the Cyclones exploded offensively. While the Chiefs did pick up one in each of the next two periods, the Cyclones found the back of the net four times in the second and once more in the third for a pretty convincing 7-2 victory.
